England captain Jos Buttler won the toss and sent Bangladesh to bat first at the Shere Bangla National Stadium in Dhaka on Tuesday. Bangladesh's two openers Liton Das and Rony Talukder started well. Bangladesh scored 55 runs in the opening pair. Adil Rashid sent back Rony Talukdar in the third ball of the eighth over. Rony Talukder got out with a catch in the hands of Adil Rashid after scoring 24 runs off 22 balls.

Then Liton Das and Nazmul Hossain Shanto pulled Bangladesh. Despite not losing a wicket, the Bangladeshi batsmen could not be very aggressive against England's bowlers. Bangladesh's second wicket fell on 139 runs. Lytton was picked up by Chris Jordan in the last ball of the 17th over.

Liton Das is out with a catch by Philip Salt. Liton played a fast inning of 73 runs off 57 balls. In the end Bangladesh scored 158 runs losing 2 wickets in 20 overs. Nazmul Hossain Shanto remains unbeaten with 47 runs off 36 balls. Shakib remains unbeaten with 4 runs off 6 balls. Bangladesh managed to score only 19 runs in the last 3 overs.

England got hit in the first over after coming down to bat. Philip Salt (0) was picked up by Tanveer Islam in the third ball. Philip Salt was stumped by his words. Then David Malan and captain Jos Buttler pulled England. Although he failed in the previous match, Malan proved himself very well today. He scored 95 runs in partnership with Jos Buttler.

In the first ball of the 14th over, Malan was caught by Liton Das off Mustafizur Rahman. He got out after scoring 53 runs off 47 balls. Jos Buttler was run out on the next ball. He scored 40 runs off 31 balls. Moin (9), Karen (4), and Oksara (unbeaten 13) could not take the pressure to break this pair. England made 142.6 in 20 overs. Taskin took 2 wickets.
