What will Putin discuss with Jinping?

Russian President Vladimir Putin welcomed Chinese President Xi Jinping. On Monday, March 20, he welcomed Jinping at Moscow’s Vnukova airport. He told the Chinese president that he was ready to discuss Beijing’s proposals to end the war in Ukraine.
Putin said, "We are always open to any discussion." Jinping is visiting Moscow for the first time since the conflict in Ukraine began in February. Beijing has recently proposed a peace treaty.

Addressing Jinping, Putin said, "We will discuss various issues, including your initiatives." Putin is scheduled for an official meeting with Putin in the afternoon.

Xi Jinping said his first state visit to Russia would give the bilateral relationship a "new pace". "I am confident that this visit will be fruitful and will give new momentum to the healthy and stable development of China-Russia relations. Xi Jinping described Russia as a "good neighbor" and "trusted partner."
The visit of the Chinese president to Moscow is being closely monitored by the United States and Western countries. Western leaders have already made statements about the visit. U.S. Secretary of State Anthony Blinken has warned that China will not be fooled by any such tactics.

The U.S. Secretary of State said the ICC had issued an arrest warrant against Putin. In such circumstances, China does not think that Jinping’s visit to Russia means that Moscow should be held accountable for its atrocities in Ukraine. He told reporters: "The world should not be fooled by any strategic move by Russia supported by China or any other country.

In the meantime, a number of plans have been developed around the meeting of the two foreign leaders. Is there any progress in ending the war in Ukraine through the Putin-Shire talks? Will Xi Jinping be able to stop the war with Vladimir Putin?
Many analysts believe that China's mediation has raised expectations for Beijing to re-establish diplomatic relations between Saudi Arabia and Iran. The world is looking at the Chinese president. Not only is it a war in Ukraine, but it is also debated whether Graffari’s push against Putin will change Beijing’s position against Moscow.

The U.S. has reacted to the Putin-Shia talks. John Carby, a spokesman for the National Security Council at the White House, said it would be unacceptable if the Chinese president could agree to Putin as a mediator in bringing peace back through a ceasefire. In doing so, Russia will have enough time and opportunity to make itself stronger.

John Carby said the meeting is likely to discuss a ceasefire in Ukraine. We have already said that President Xi should discuss this with President Zelensky. We believe that China should be considered from the perspective of Ukraine.
The United States and its allies are deeply concerned about Xi’s visit. China is not expected to condemn Russia’s actions. Instead, the West will provide more financial assistance to Moscow in the wake of sanctions.
